SATNA NEWS AKS UNIVERSITY : Four Days 2nd International Conference on Advances and Innovations in Biotechnology for Sustainable Biorecources and Bioeconom (AI-BSBB2023), was inaugurated on 22 November 2023 under the organizing leadership of AKS University, Satna. In this event, 600 participants from 120 institutions along with more than 100 Invited Speakers from 16 countries witnessed the glorious inauguration of the International Conference. Addressing, the international theme related Advances and Innovations in Biotechnology for Sustainable Bioresources and Bioeconomy (AI-BSBB2023), Dr. Kamlesh Choure, Conference Convener, in his speech mentioned that Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Ministry of Science & Technology, Govt. of India,  The Biotech Research Society India (BRSI), Vigyan Bharati, The National Academy of Sciences India, Bhopal Chapter, MP Council of Science and Technology (MPCST), Bhopal, Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO), Govt. of India, Center for Energy and Environmental Sustainability (CEES) India, Society of Life Sciences India, International Bioprocessing Organization have supported and sponsored AI-BSBB2023 and co-sponsored by Kalinga University Naya Raipur Chhattisgarh, Ultratech Cement, Satna Indian Bank, Birla Corporation Limited, Satna, Prism Johnson Cement, Satna, Ethano Mushroom Spawn Laboratory, Jabalpur and Centyle Biotech Private Limited, Delhi.

In the evening, the colorful programs organized in a festive atmosphere enthralled the guests and they enjoyed the Hindi and English songs. At the end of the program everyone again wished AKS University all the best for the Third International Conference and everyone left for their destination promising to come again. and he also discussed in detail the various themes of the event in respect to climate change, waste management and green energy. In this international conference, Prof. Ashok Pandey, CSIR-IITR Lucknow, acted as Conference Chair India, Dr. Renu Wadhwa, AIST, Japan, Prof. Cristobal N. Aguilar, Mexico were special Guest. The Chief Guest of inaugural function, Dr. Bhaskar Narayan, Director, CSIR-IITR, Lucknow delivered a keynote lecture on Cost to Dare for Best Innovation. Sh. B.P. Shivesh Pratap Singh, Secretary, NASI-Bhopal Chapter graced the event with their dignified presence. From the university platform, the Chancellor of the University, Sh. B.P. Soni gave the presidential address. He shared his views on the concept of World Government from the stage. Pro Chancellor Anant Kumar Soni congratulated the Second International Conference from the stage and wished itтАЩs all success. At the end of the program, mementos were given to the guests. The vote of thanks was given by Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Harsh Vardhan. The inaugural program was conducted by Maahi Chaure, Assistant Professor, AKS University. At the end of the inauguration program, a colorful cultural program was organized for the international and national speakers and participants.

This rainbow presentation enchanted everyone. In the technical scientific sessions of the AI-BSBB2023, scientists and researcher from various nations shared their pathbreaking research in the area of biotechnology to address the current issues raised due to climate change, pollution, fuel scarcity. Researchers deliberated their talks to cover the various biotechnology interventions to address the challenges emerged due to Carbon dioxide accumulation in the environment. Sessions were organized in the auditoriums of the AKS University in the presence of various international speakers such as Byeong Hoon Joen, South Korea, Renu Wadhwa Japan, Rui Oliveira, Portugal, Prof. B.A. Chopade, India, Helena Khatoon, Bangladesh, Yoshiro Ohmiya, Japan, Josef Marusekh, Czech Republic, Jose Luis Mexico etc. Besides this, many top biotech scientists from india belongs to various scientific organization such as CSIR, DBT, DRDO laboratories, NITs, IITs Cental and State Universities also put their scientific outcomes to mitigate the various environmental challenges emerged due to wastes and huge carbon emission.  Many research scholars participated in short oral rapid presentation and poster presentation in this conference and presented their research work. Several sessions were held in the auditorium on various topics like Microbial Technologies, Anaerobic Digestion, Food Processing, Plant Microbe Interaction, Algal Biorefinery, Stem Cell Engineerings, Pharmaceutical and Medical Biotechnologies etc.

The international conference Workshop on Recent Advances in Microbial Degradation Technologies was conducted by Dr. A.K. Goyal and Dr. Manish Kumar Meghvansi, from DRDE-DRDO, Gwalior and given insights on technology of bio-toilets installed in Indian Railways with everyone.In the closing ceremony of the International Conference Prof. Jose Teixeira, Portugal and Prof. Emmanuel Papamichael, Greece were the special guests. They appreciated the activities of every moment of the program and said that every activity in this international conference was conducted systematically, which also gave a new perspective on the work being done in the biotech sector in the international scenario. Durinng this program the researchers were honored with the Biotechnology Research Excellence Award by BRSI & SLS joint award ceremony. The Best Oral Presentation Award winner was Vikas Maurya, BHU University, Varanasi, Usha Sabharwal, Parul University, Vadodara Madhumita Priyadarshini, IIT, BHU, Varanasi Dr. Neeraj Ghanwate, Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Ashish Verma, IMS, Varanasi, Banaras Hindu University, Bhavana Pandey, Institute of Science Banaras Hindu University Varanasi, Janak Saveria Nanaji Deshmukh Veterinary Science University, Virendra Kumar Pandey, AKS, Satna, Vishal Sharma, National Caution University of Science and Technology Taiwan. Best Paper Presentation Award were given to Soumya Shukla, Dayanand Girls PG College, Kanpur, Vivek Kumar Jaiswal, IIT, BHU, Varanasi, Ashish Tripathi, Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology for Handicapped, Kanpur, Richa Arya DRDE- DRDO, Gwalior. CEES Awards given to Vanshika Gupta DRDE-DRDO Gwalior, Piyush Kant Rai, AKS, Dr. S. Shanthikrithi, Central University of Tamil Nadu, Swati Singh Thapar University, Satyanarayana, Weltech Rangarajan College. Lastly the prestigious award Dr. R. P. S. Dhakre Memorial Best Researcher Award was given to Bhavana Pandey, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi.
